said the regsvr was SUCCESSFUL....but ...  same old thing ....tabctl32.ocx still a problem... does this version actually install on a windows 7 PC?

Maybe I should try to install it on my  Vista laptop into another folder naturally .. or would that screw up the InnoScript 10.5 build 9 I have there now?????

Crap...didn't have innoscript installed just now .. . will try it again after installing for the 4th time. Be right back to EDIT this, if possible, with results.

davethomson

did that => error

I assume InnoScript 11 has been run on a Windows 7 PC.  Previously I had done that but CD to the Windows\syswow64\ and used regsvr32 tabctl32.ocx and that didn't work either. What is wrong?

Randem

Did you run as administrator?

Try this

Start->Search programs and Files

Type in CMD

When you get the prompt type in

Regsvr32 c:Windowssyswow64tabctl32.ocx

This will register the file.

SNOOZED CA ANTI-VIRUS

nope ... still same old thing...I have to assume that it works on other people's Windows 7 PC. What the hell is different about mine?

Did you see the error you have in the installation .exe => C:\C:\Program Files (x86)\Randem Systems\InnoScript\InnoScript 11

Double C:\C:\  Can't believe you made an error like this.

I am so tried of trying things to get this PC working ... so a short break to watch some of the Clemson Football game with some popcorn.

Sorry,

Install Package - InnoScript Installation Exe

the Anti-Virus package was just an idea as to what could be killing the installation...

davethomson

CA ANTI-VIRUS which I just had installed today.

I can't figure out how to stop CA from running. Can you tell me how to normally stop the damn thing from running so I can try to install InnoScript again?

I ran install package as administrator and same old thing .. doesn't like tabctl32.ocx.

AND WHEN INSTALLING INNOSCRIPT YOU HAVE AND ERROR IN THE WHERE TO INSTALL THAT SAYS:

C:C:Program Files (x86)Randem SystemsInnoScriptInnoScript 11

Why are there TWO c:??? Error on setting up the .exe?

What Anti-Virus software are you using?

Randem

Not necessarily so... Go to the install package then right click on it then select run as administrator Install the package then see what happens. You can also disable your Virus software. I believe one of those two will solve the issue.

339 - LOAD UNSAFE FILE

APPARENTLY DELL SCREWED ME OVER WITH A DUMB-ASS PC. $400 DOWN THE DRAIN...WHAT A WASTE...NOW I CAN'T USE THIS PIECE OF CRAP TO WORK WITH VB FILES....WHAT A WASTE!

Randem

Yes, the procedure is in the email with the codes

Randem

The download is the same one that is on the webpage... https://randemsystems.com/innoscript//

I have a clean windows 7 PC as only 2 days old. Anyway, I just paid for the latest version. Now, how the heck do I get it? I have the receipt from paypal  using visa card. I assume when you get confirmation of payment you will send me something to get the download. No mention on your site during purchase when/where the buyer gets the program. I guess I am just too damn old with poor eyes and can't see or figure things out. So, patiently waiting to hear back from your site how I get the installation program. Patiently, hell, can't wait to see if it works on this computer.

P.S. never have figured out about using administrative privilege and probably don't want or need to know as I am the only one using my computers

------
Ok, got your email with code. I assume I now download the v 11.1, install it, run it and enter (copy  & paste) the codes in a window there.  I guess for everyone else it is obvious what the procedure is.

OK, NEW VERSION DOESN'T WORK EITHER. HERE IS WHAT COMES UP (SAME OLD THING).

OPPS...CAN'T UPLOAD FILES HERE... WILL POST IMAGE IN NEXT MSG.

Installed InnoScript 10.5 Build 9 on a clean Windows 7 machine and it installed fine and ran fine. No Problems...

Have you tried running the install with administrative privileges as noted in the announcement page?
