Title: Broken Links
Post by: will_fastie on September 13, 2006, 06:50:24 AM
From www.randemsystems.com/innoscript-setup (https://randemsystems.com/innoscript//), clicking on the Visual Basic 6 Runtime Distribution Files link yields an error.

From www.randemsystems.com/osupdatersupport.html (https://randemsystems.com/os-updater-support):

-- The bookmark links under O/S Updaters do not work.

-- The link Manual OS Updater for MDAC/JET/DCOM... yields an internal server error.

These problems cropped up in both IE7 and FireFox 1.5.0.6.

Thanks.

Aloha Will,

Thank you for reporting these problems. We have corrected the links. We could not find a problem with the bookmarks on the support page, they works as they should. We could not find a problem with them. What problem did you experience?

We use Firefox 1.5.0.6 and IE 6.0.2900

Oops, I made a mistake.  The two bookmarks work in FireFox but not in IE7.  I will be installing IE7 RC1 in a day or so and will report back if that solves the problem.

I'm a little late in following through on my promise but I can confirm that all the links now work.

However, there is another link issue.

On https://randemsystems.com/innoscript// (https://randemsystems.com/innoscript//), the Inno Key Generator link is incorrect.  Also note that the information at that link is a bit outdated.

Thank You for reporting the broken link. It is now working.

Information on the link outdated?

The IKG site says that one needs IS and My Inno Extensions to use IKG.  The latter is now integrated in to IS and thus one only needs a contemporary version of IS.

A minor detail, to be sure.

Yes, one does not need My Inno Exentions.

How did it work for you?

I didn't know about it until today. I'm investigating.
