Title: To distinguish the unsafe files
Post by: jojom on August 16, 2006, 12:57:58 AM
Just as missing files are displayed in red color the unsafe files could also be displayed in adifferent colour. At present only the number of unsafe files only is displayed(as far as I am aware )
Also when we attempt to open a project at the program start the project file is not displayed in the common dialogue. The name of the project appears in the dropdown list of file name Only after typing the name of the file. If you could correct it it would ease the job

jojom,

The unsafe files are removed from the script. How would they be displayed in red or any color?

I do not understand what you mean by the projects don't appear. They appear in the File menu under Recent Projects. If you are in Open Projects, nothing should appear for InnoScript has no clue of what project you want to open. Please clarify.

I couldnt figure it out from the help file about the removal of the unsafe file; that is why. Then one question remains is that how to replace those with safe files or need not bother about them?

The other problem : let me explain.if we brows the folders to open the vbp project (for the first time) the icon of the vbp project is not there (in the folder as shown by the dialogue box). If it was seen there we could easily know that it is there and just by selecting it we can open it easily. This is only a minor thing ;just sugested it for the ease of use.

If they are unsafe file then they should only be replaced with a SP installation.
I have looked at the browse for vbp project and if I go to a folder where a vbp project resides it shows.  This is how we use it. Could you give very detailed information on how, where and what you are doing? Step by step. We don't see what you see.

Yes, You would need to use the ignoreversion flag on the file.
