Title: InnoScript for .NET
Post by: Mahrine (Unregistered Guest) on August 08, 2004, 08:18:01 PM
Hello
i have used innoscript and the converter and i must say that they are excellent tools. I always create my setup programs using these tools. I have also used it while i was making setup programs for my Pocket PC and Palm applications.

I am now developing my application in .NET and would really wish to have a converter which would automatically detect all my dependencies and create a setup for me.
Is there any chance for a release in future which will also support .NEt applications?

Waiting for a favourable reply
Mahrine

Mahrine,

This has not been considered yet. Your request was the first. It will be looked into though.

May I add that I would be delighted to see such a .NET version myself?

When you say that Innoscript for .NET has been released does that mean it will create install scripts for both C# and VB .NET projects?

qbuster,

No, InnoScript is currently only a VB app processor to create scripts for VB installations. Perhaps if there is more interest, other non-VB languages can be supported also.
