Title: Windows 7 64 bits
Post by: camarate on June 14, 2011, 04:30:38 PM
Hi,

I downloaded a trial version of Inno Script to evaluation it, and I tried to install it in a Windows 7 64 bits OS using the Run as Administrator option, getting the following errors.

What am I doing wrong? How do I install Inno Script?

Thanks in advance,

You are doing nothing wrong but it seems from the messages that your machine may have some permissions issues. Generally if you have administrative rights (logged in as an administrator) you would not get these types of errors. Here are a few things you can try to remedy the situation:

1 - Boot into SAFE Mode then try to install.

2 - Create a new Administrator user then attempt the installation.

3 - Are you logged in as a standard user? You need to be an administrator.

4 - If you are an administrator then check your machine for infections. Use Combofix, SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes and AVG (or another anti-virus software) to relieve your machine of these issues.
