Title: Windows 10
Post by: davethomson on August 20, 2015, 10:18:24 PM
How is Innoscript affected by Windows 10, e.g. do I need to do anything different to make .exe work on Windows 10 computers?

No, nothing needs to be done for InnoScript to run on Windows 10

Thank you.  Just wanted to make sure that the script for InnoSetUp would produce an installation .exe that would run on Windows 10 machines.

In order to run my VB applications on Windows 10 I had to change the Max NT Version settings to "Windows 8/Windows Server 2012".  If I left it at Windows 7 it wouldn't install.  I also changed Min to "Windows 7/Windows Server R2".  Not sure what would happen if I left Min at Windows XP/Windows Server 2003.

Yes,  of course it would not install at the Windows 7 Max NT Setting for obvious reasons... It installs at the Windows 8 setting for Windows 10 is just a revamped, glamorized Windows 8 OS.
The Min setting is so that it will not attempt to install on less than whatever OS that you have selected.
