Hi Randem,
I've been using InnoScript (V11.1 Build 16) OK until the other day when it started asking me for registration details (again) but this time after I entered the details the popup disappeared but without registering/activating the product.
I then tried to download the latest package (V11.1.20) but I keep getting HTTP Error 404: File or directory not found..
I would greatly appreciate some assistance to both download the latest package and activate it.
Cheers
Sorry about that, We updated the whole website last night and the links never got caught up to current since we start the new website development. It has been corrected and you will be able to download now.
As far as the registration of the product. There is only one reason that we know of where the registration would appear after not being present for a long time. That scenario is if InnoScript was installed on more than the two machines that we allow.
Thank you for alerting us of the problem. You may need to refresh your browser to get the new page. Current version is 11.1 Build 22
Thanks for that, the link now works ok.
About the registration, not sure what's going on there. I had one license from way back and in January of this year I bought a couple of new licenses for the latest IS and all was ok until last week when all of a sudden it started complaining. I'll try again with Build 20 and see how it goes.
Cheers
Just thought about it and there is another reason this could happen. If the registry entries were somehow removed or corrupted; InnoScript would think it was unregistered and ask to register.
Of the two 'Transaction ID' and 'Registration Code' pairs that I have (previous and latest) neither work.
What can I do to resolve this issue, otherwise I basically can't use it?
The last version we have you at is 9.3 and the reg codes you have will not work with the newer version. We sent out email notifications over a year ago stating that version11 would not be a free upgrade. You have two options As described on the website
(Free Upgrade If You Purchased Version 10.3 or higher for 1 year)
and the support site:
Last Version before Version 11 can be downloaded here InnoScript 10.5 Build 9
So you can either purchase the upgrade to Version 11 or use the last free upgrade available.
I'm a bit confused here, I purchased two licenses as per below for two PC's:
1) 6/Jan/2012 - Transaction ID: 36046565........., Registration Code: cG685V......
2) 24/Jan/2012 - Transaction ID: 2NW13225........., Registration Code: ?6?L?YK.....
I was using the first one (so I think that because I didn't touch it for months and I may be wrong) and that one the other day stopped working for some reason, maybe IS was having a bad day or something ;).
Yesterday after downloading the latest V11.1 Build 22 and trying the same activation code it didn't work but in light of what you said in your last post I checked my emails and found activation details from the 20th Feb 'Transaction ID: 9VS53649.........' and that one activates IS and initially works however when I close IS and start it again I get 'No license present'.
When I enter the same details that worked the first time I get 'Problem with License installation CLF' message.
It's all a bit frustrating. What should I do next?

Ok, checked under a different email address and found it. Yes those registration code will work with the current version.
Something has created a problem with InnoScript on your computer. I checked our logs and they show that you registered version 11.1.22 of the software today, so there is no problem on our end here.
I would uninstall InnoScript delete all the folders for InnoScript then re-install after a clean restart. There may be some software on your computer that maybe stopping InnoScript from accessing the registry and files it needs. All is clear on our side.
Registry cleaners and certain A/V software may be interfering with operations. Since this happened all of a sudden this would most likely be the case.
Another question: Did you install version 11 over the old version without uninstalling first? This has been known to cause problems for the versions are not compatible with each other.
I believe so.
I'll try uninstalling the current version (11) and then reinstall it and see how that works out.
Thanks
Another thought... Is InnoScript being allowed to run as Administrator? This is especially important at installation and registration time.
Just downloaded the latest Build 23 and all seems ok in terms of license. It's not deactivating.
It's searching for a few more (somewhat unexpected) files as part of normal execution but I'll need to take a closer look at that to see whether I'm inadvertently doing something wrong.
For now please consider this issue closed and thanks for all your help.
Cheers.
Glad all is fine (for the moment).
If InnoScript seems to be searching longer than usual, check your search folders area. There may be folders there that has many sub folders or have locations where no files actually are.
Usually the first run takes the longest because InnoScript will automatically add folder names to the search area where it previously found files.
