That is because you need new codes. An email was sent out to all users stating this and it was posted on the website also.

Send the details from the purchase to regcodes at randem dot com to get the new codes.

I did download rsgenrtns.dll from your link and then downloaded and installed the latest version from the web-site, all is now working OK but I need to register it.

I have found my last registration details dated 28/10/2006
Here are the new registration codes for version 5.4 of InnoScript
User Name: @@@@@

Email Address: @@@@@@

Reg Code: @@@@@

Reg Key:  @@@@@@

I have entered these details into innoscript putting my email address into the Transaction ID field and I get the message

Randem

If you are going to keep the installation file, I would suggest re-downloading it you seem to have a corrupt file.

The email address is DoNotReply at Randem dot com

Again thanks for your help, it's all working now.

Can you please tell me the email address that you use to send registration details so I can find my details on my computer you last sent me.

Are the dates for RSGenRtns.dll 05/24/2007 1:20pm and the InnoScript.exe 05/30/2007 2:00pm?

If this problem is still happening, Please re-download and re-install. Here are the matching file.

johnmax

Randem,

rsgenrtns.dll  Ver2.0.0.9

Inno Setup Script Creator 7.0.0.0

ps you see why I did not find it before you said resgenrtn.dll in your first post

So I now should delete it ?

philippe,

Did you download the 7.0 Release? It has the change for the toolbar.

Randem

OK, I am awake... Yawn...

Johnmax, Are you saying after install the file doesn't exist either? The only reason for that beep is version incompatibility. The exe doesn't match the rsgenrtns.dll.

Tell me the version on both files.

johnmax

After the install I ran my registry checker and it reported

Problem:  Invalid File or Folder

Registry Key:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareClassesInnoScript.DebugFileDefaultIcon

Value:  C:WINDOWSsystem32Notepad.ico,-1

I then repaired this but I still get a system beep and InnoScript does not work.

If you don't mind I will wait until Randem gets up!

philippe

Being just a happy user and until Hawaii wakes up, may I just suggest that you revert back to 6.x, backup your innoscript?ini file and install 7.0 on top of it? This is what I did and had no problems...AFAIK and I guess I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, the rsgenrtn.dll file holds the licensing information...

Just in case you missed it, it does not work which is the point of my post.

I have now un-installed it again with no reported problems and downloaded and re-intsalled it again with no reported problems. However when it installs it puts 2 desktop icons on the desktop not one? With both Icons having the same Target and Path.

When I double click either of them all I get is a system beep.

I have again (after the re-install) searched the hard drive and the file

philippe

Well...It should, otherwise don't know how it can work...

johnmax

That file is not on my system or anywhere on my hard drive?

Randem

Delete you rsgenrtn.dll from your system folder and re-install.

johnmax

I up-dated from Ver7 Beta to the current ver7 build 0, using the link on your web-site. Ver7 Beta was working great before this up-date. No problems with the install, my OS is XP Pro.

Now when I double click the desktop icon I just get a system beep.
