Title: Run-time error 429 updating to 10.5.07
Post by: ranoel on May 11, 2011, 06:39:03 AM
It's been a while since I've used InnoScript so when the updater asked if I wanted a newer version I went for it. Now I get a run time error 429 ActiveX component can't create object. I see (to late) in the warnings not to install newer versions in same folder as ver. prior to 10.0 and there's a good chance I did that. So now what do I do.

You uninstall, then re-install InnoScript. That is all you need to do. Of course if you made changes to any templates or the unsafe file list you should back them up first.

The current supported version of InnoScript is 10.5 Build 9. Use the latest version and please give uninstall/install details if you continue to have problems.

When you uninstall please delete all InnoScript folder:

\Program Files\Randem Systems\InnoScript
\Program Files\Common Files\Randem System\Release

If they exist.
