Title: Problem with Vmware and windows XP Portuguese
Post by: brunosilva on January 12, 2012, 11:21:36 AM
Hi

I have version 11.1 build 3 and I use vmware v8 to develop programs in VB6.

In this VM I have windows XP SP3 Portuguese.

My project is on C:\SAA\SAA.vbp

But the programa changes this path to C:\SAA\SAA\vbp.

I attach picture with this error.

What can I do to fix this?

this occurs only on this vbp. I have here other vb6 programs and innoscript is OK.

if needed I can send the vbp by mail or something.

Thanks

Did you type the name in or use the browse button to select the vbp file? Did you try both ways?

Does it work outside of VM?

strangely after a while i tried to change the folder name and all worked OK... strange

One question off topic: how to add third party merge modules (from other components)?

Thanks

To add a third party merge module you would use the External Installs selection or you can add it in with a template if you know the command structure.
