The links should work now.

Sorry!  I didn't see where to create a new thread so piggy backed on this one!

The link I tried was https://randemsystems.support/index.php?topic=21 ... then I clicked on a link to download v10 build 9 ... https://randemsystems.com/scripts/downloadit.php?filename=InnoScript1005009Release.zip which resulted in HTTP 404 error.

If there is a working link, please provide!

Thanks!

Aloha mathomason,

In the future please do not hi-jack others threads; it only leads to confusion to all users... Please create your own thread for each issue.

Version 10 is no longer supported or available so if you want to use version 10 you have to find version 10 elsewhere to re-install. Version 11 is the current version.

BTW: There are two links in this thread and they both work. Which one are you referring to?

I also have a fairly new PC since my old one crashed.  I was able to recover my project files but the installation files are gone.  I was using one of the version 10 builds which I purchased in February 2010.  I have my Tran ID and Reg Code but the link in this thread doesn't work!  How can I install version 10 so that my project files are useable?  Thanks!!!

Randem

Thank you. If you really want to keep those files in the root of the computer you should at the very least make one folder then keep the other folders inside of if.

Glad the issue is being solved...

I have done a factory Restore, downloaded/installed 10.5 build 9. works perfectly

I will create a restore point now and then, gradually, add my folders/files from laptop. Then install other necessary programs, e.g. Innosetup, Google, etc.. after each I will check to make sure Innoscript still works and, if so, create another restore point.

thank you very much for helping me out.  It was a pleasure meeting you, watching you control my PC attempting to solve the Innoscript problem.

Randem

Tried contacting you, left message. tried logging on, you seemed to have logged me out... Will try again now.

Randem

Ok I see your computer. Is it ok to access it. Email me the username and password to access your computer to randem @ randem dot com

davethomson

I have an account set up for you to access by PC. Its name is randem. So, should I post the password here too?

davethomson

Have installed LogMeIn but can't seem to get it to work from my Vista Laptop, i.e. I login to my account at LogMeIn but either doesn't work or I am doing it wrong (99% chance I am doing it wrong).

so let me know what you want to do next.

Dell tech says it is not Dell, rather it is your trial program. I assured him that you would not put a program for download on the web that doesn't work on Windows 7.

I asked him if it is possible for Dell to return my hard drive to that what was originally installed and he said yes. I may have them do this so I can download/install innoscript with nothing on my PC for factor stuff. If it doesn't install then Dell's problem. If it installs them it has to be some program that I installed OR something that the Computer Associates tech did to the PC when installing CA Anti-Virus.

Back with more later.

Dell support is working with me to see if they can resolve the .ocx problem. They have remote control of my new Dell and have (a) seen these message board, (b) tried to install both 10.5 and 11.1. Both gave the same results, i.e. tabctl32.ocx missing or one of its dependencies not found.

Hopefully, the tech will be able to solve the problem and you wouldn't have to take time to remotely control my pc.

He is using browser to research an InnoScript missing .ocx file.
Back later with results of tech's work.

Actually, I am on the east coast right now due to a family emergency. The LogMein was not for you to remotely control your computer but for me to log in. I will send you a different copy of the LogMeIn installation. Please install this copy. I do not see your computer so something is wrong. The problem is not your computer but the software you have on it.

BTW: You should have set up an additional account with administrative privileges on your computer for this purpose. In that way you can keep your account with no password.

Ok, used Control Panel to access Accounts and set up password for PC. Worked. Now when I turn on PC I have to enter password that is for my administrator's name. So, went back to laptop, logged into LogMeIn and tried to remotely access my PC.

Assume to login in I should use my Administrator's name & password.  Seems logical go me.

NOPE - LogMeIn says something is wrong, either wrong user name or password. Try several times to login. Still would not allow me to do and now my PC I am trying to access has BLOCKED ME from trying.

Not sure what name to use when logging in, my administrator's name & password? Seems like that should be it.

So, what now?

If I can return this new PC I may box it up for return. If I do I will post message here so you won't waste your valuable time trying to see my PC (which I can't do right now) to see if you can figure out what is going on.

If I do return the PC and get a different one then I will have the HUGE HASSLE of setting up another PC and that is really a hassle, especially getting another copy of CA Anti-Virus installed (which took me over two hours as had to have their help desk do it for me ... a very long story as why they had do it so won't bore you with the details).
