I let Microsoft make a security update and now InnoScript will not load. All I get is a beep. Can't do anything. Everythig worked perfect before the update. Using XP Pro with all the fixes. Help!!!!
Please in your original post, indicate the version you are working with so that we can be talking about the same product...
all I can say is to download and install the latest version. We have no problems here and we are fully updated with MS updates.
Innoscrip Ver 8.0.3
Upgrade to 9.0.5, run it and see if the problem still exist.
Are you running any of our other products on that same machine?
While I was waiting for you, I deinstalled innoscript and reinstalled it. Now when it starts I get Error 430, Class does not support automation or does not support xxxxxxx. I will update and see what happens.
Ok, now I installed 9.0 and nothing happens.
Define NOTHING...
Is it loaded in the task Manager?
etc...
Is your IP 124.82.112.97?
Where did you install InnoScript?
We have gone through this befor. I use Mac for all internet transactions. I try not to use the Microsoft machine on the net. So if you are reading my header, you have the wrong machine. I installed and registered Version 5.0 back in January 2007. I can send you the Registration Code and Key if you would like. But in a more secure mode.
I reciently installed Business Objects Crystal Reports version 11.0. Could that have something to do with it?
No, You haven't answer two important questions yet...
Define Nothing happens...
Does InnoScript appear in Task Manager etc...
Is there a Program Named Update running (Multiple Copies)?
I need some information in order to diagnose the problem.
I click on the InnoScript Icon on the Desk Top. The Computer goes Beep. That's it. The Task Manager window is empty, except for the Microsoft Auto Update, which I can't seem to get rid of. So, I reboot and do it again and it stays the same. Sorry for the troubles.
Ok, here is more. I rebooted. Looked in the Task Manager and nothing was running. Then I tried to launch Innoscript an BEEP. Now the AutoUpdate appears in the Task Window. I close it, try to restart Innoscript and boom! AutoUpdate comes back.
No troubles at all...
Go to the InnoScript folder and change the Update settings to False as descriped in the forum message then re-run InnoScript
If that does not work..
Go to WindowsSystem32 folder and delete a file named RSGenRtns.dll then re-install 9.0.
OK!!!!! I went on line with the Microsoft Computer and every thing works fine. So now I know I have to be on line to use the program. Thank you for your patience
Do you have 9.0.5 Working?
The registered version does not require the Internet, the trial does...
9.0 is working just fine. Do I have to re-register? Thanks for your assistance. I really appreciate it. The best support on the net.
No, If you did not change machines you do not have to re-register.
Glad you got it working. How is the new look and feel?
BTW: You should be on 9.0.5
It feels and looks great. Is there an easy way to get it to find the SetUp program?
Please Explain... Setup Program????
Sorry, I had to go shopping. With versions 5 through 7 of Innoscript, the ISsetup button on the tool bar was connected to the ISsetup program. Since Version 7, it is not. Just wanted to know how to reconnect.
It is still connected but only after the conversion will you be able to access it.
What Conversion?
After you create the script
Thank you!
