Aloha Jim,

I would also suggest to download and install the latest version. Some other issues were corrected.

Hi,

Wonderful, it works now, or at least I can get to the main screen. Attached is the zipped trace log file.

Cheers

Jim,

Yes, I know you are getting the same error. I just need to trace where you are getting it from. I probably need one or two more test to see if it is a hardware problem.

If I should find the error with your assistance. You will be given a free copy of InnoScript for your assistance.

I will post a new exe to test the trace as soon as it is ready.

Sorry, didn't realise the meaning of Mahalo.

Just run the new exe and please find the attached log.

Yes, the error 13, type mismatch still happens for both this new exe and the one before that.

Cheers
Jim

admin

Jim,

You stated you got an mis-match error. Did that error happen this time?

admin

Jim,

Could you try this exe then return the logs again please.

Aloha Jim,

Mahalo is just a closing meaning Thanks in Hawaiian.

Thanks, We are looking into this. I will send you another exe/dll to try until we can resolve this matter.

Hi Mahalo,

I have done the following:

1. Rename the original exe
2. Extracted the exe into the program directory
3. Unregistered the original DLL from windows system32 directory using regsvr32 /u
4. Rename the original DLL to something else
5. Extracted the DLL to the windows system32 directory
6. Register the new DLL using regsvr32
7. Run the exe, edit the ini file as requested
8. Run the exe again, and the same error pops up.
9. Retry the same thing after changing the screen resolution to 1024x768, same error and log file contents.
10. I checked the log file content, they are the same no matter I am running in 1280x1024 or 1024x768.

Cheers
Jim

admin

Jim,

Could you also include the InnoScript.err file from the folder you installed InnoScript into?

admin

Jim,

Could you do me a favor. In order to find out where the app is failing please replace you exe with this one. Run this exe and return to me the trace log file it generates.

The log file will be names InnoScriptTrace.log in the Log folder of the folder where you installed InnoScript. It will run quite slow because it is generating the log.

Mahalo
