I use Ultra Edit as script editor and after entering the name, location, applying update and saving project the information I entered is gone when I open project again. Is there a way to keep my editor on project open?
I am not quite sure exactly what you mean. If you enter your script editor in the script editor section it should stay there and be available on the main toolbar when you use InnoScript. I do not know what you mean by project open. Please give more details...
I am using version 11 build 16.
1. Entered Ultra Edit In the first box
2. Entered Path to Ultra Edit
3. Press Apply button
4. Press OK button
5. Press Save Project button in upper tool Bar
6. Close Inno Script
7. Reopen Inno Scrip
8. Open Inno Project saved in step 5
9. Select Inno Script Editors
10 select Script editor 5 tab
11. the information I saved in step 1 and 2 is gone.
Ok, I will look into that. One step that seems to be missing is to check show in toolbar. I will get back to you with an answer on this.
Here is a fix for that issue. thanks for reporting it. It appears that this only happens in the 5th Tab.
Yes I have show in toolbar checked.
After Reloading Inno Project the button is tool bar is blank (no text).
Thanks will install fix.
Well Maybe I am doing somthing wrong. I Unzipped the file you sent me and tried to run the InnoScript.exe which created InnoScript.exe.manifest. I get a message box that says RS General Routines W 6.0 Key File Missing
Then second message box that says
InnoScript Version 11.0 Build 16
File Not found ISD.dll
I getting the feeling I am not putting file into correct folder to run it? I running it from c:temp
Okay all fine was my fault
the fix did fix the problem.
Thanks a lot
Yes, I thought it would be understood that the file had to replace the original file in the installed location. So I did not explain that...
