Title: Will InnoScript run on Vista/Windows 7 ?
Post by: admin on February 16, 2007, 09:50:16 PM
Yes, InnoScript will run on Vista/Windows 7. It will even run in a Limited Users account and not require Administrator Privileges. The only time it requires Administrative Privileges is when you install it or create an WinSxS installation. After installation InnoScript has to be run in the Administrator account one time then it will then will run in the Limited Users account. InnoScript does not trigger UAC when it is run or does it require to be Run As Administrator. InnoScript will also use the APPDATA path to install your data so that your application can become Vista Compliant. Of course your app has to retrieve the data from the same place or it will not be Vista/Windows 7  Compliant.
