I recently installed BotBanish on SMF 2.0.15, but after installing, i can no longer access my forum. I get this message, "BotBanish_Subs Hacking attempt..."
Is there a way to manually remove this MOD?

i tried to remove the .htaccess file and that didn't get me back to the site either. dammit, this sux
i was able to remove this manually. I deleted all the BotBanish files and folders in the forum root directory. I also deleted the sources and themes folders, then copied those folders back in from the SMF install zip. After that I could access the site.
Aloha strangedesign,
To remove BotBanish Manually, open the zip file and view the modification.xml file. It will tell you all the places to remove the BotBanish code. You will also need to edit the index.php file and remove the line include 'Setting_Client.php'. I can see you installed 3.2.01 and it was active for a while blocking a few IP addresses. If you got a message that there was a hacking attempt, something attempted to call or load that file without the BotBanish structure being present. BotBanish is working on many systems with no issues.
Could you tell me more about the installation? Did you get any errors or warnings? What theme are you using?
Your site is being attacked by bots searching for venerabilities. We could help you re-install it to keep it working.
