1) The .htaccess file that was indicated for BotBanish to use is either marked READ ONLY.
2) The entry that has been previously placed in the .htaccess file is not there (It may have been manually removed).
3) The wrong location for the root .htaccess file was used causing the entries not to be present.
Resolution: Make sure that the .htaccess file that BotBanish uses is NOT read only and in the root of your domain.

1) The bot is hitting your site too fast for BotBanish to lock it out the first time. Eventually the lockout will take effect. This is just a notification.
2) The wrong location for the root .htaccess file was used causing the entries not to be present in the root .htaccess file. BotBanish has previously blocked this IP or User-Agent but it is still being seen by BotBanish. 1) Your BotBanish account has been terminated due to using the incorrect .htaccess file causing any previously blocked IP's or User-Agents to keep accessing the system causing BotBanish to waste resources attempting to protect your domain.
Resolution: Update to the latest BotBanish version and make sure that the .htaccess file used is for the root for your domain. Contact BotBanish to re-activate your account after the situation has been corrected.
