Your IP's have been unblocked, so you now have full access using either system. We will monitor access to see exactly what is triggering the lockout. Please understand that while using a shared IP address the one who gets the IP locked out does not have to be the last one who used the IP. The threshold had been triggered by a previous user of that IP.

You are indeed correct on the 403 error and the IP address is being blocked. Unfortunately it only takes one device using the same IP address to cause a problem on a shared IP address for the IP to get blocked and all users of the same IP will suffer. This is something we are looking into but no solution is available at this time. I have unblocked the IP but if the abuser returns to their previous behavior it will get blocked again.

No, this is not a 'file not found' error. The error message is "Forbidden  You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Also you are not understanding that this problems applies to every web page at randemsystems.com (including the home page and this support board), not just file downloads, and whenever I try to access using my normal home IP provider, Cox Cable (as I just did a few moments ago), at any time of day. I can only create this response on my laptop by using the Wifi hotspot on my iPhone instead (using cellular data). The Cox WAN IP address for my cable modem is 70.179.40.36.

The fact that I can get through using cellular data but not via my home wifi (both from the same computer) strongly suggests that your site is blocking my access. It could not, for example, be an issue with the firewall on my laptop since I can get through when the laptop gets its internet connection from my iPhone. Similarly I cannot access your web pages from my iPhone when it is connected to my home wifi.

Aloha jphilo@mailway.com,

Thank you for reporting this, I will look into this issue. A 403 error is file not found which is not something we create and is not part of our security measures. This type of error is triggered by the server being accessed. I could use some more information about the request that was being made from your provider. All it would take is one character to be added or out of place for this error to happen (Bad URL). If you could provide the external IP address, time of day, domain, server name etc from which you were accessing our website it would be helpful in tracking down this issue.

I was trying to download OS Updater files for Innoscript, but found I can no longer access any part of your website when using my Cox Cable IP provider. All attempts give a 'Forbidden' 403 error message. The only way I can access the site is using my cell phone's data connection (AT&T). So it seems your security measures are being overly aggressive. Note that since you do not provide any contact e-mail, if and when this happens your customers have no way to reach you other than by phone.
