Why charge?

atownman,

All free products are paid for somehow and by someone. Either donations or corporate usage support. Some think that Free means no one pays for it. Well Websites, Development, Support etc... Have to be paid by someone. If donations supported just the website and related things, the product would still be free. When was the last time you supported a free product with even a $1.00 donation?

However some people who get the free productsNEVER support it by donations ending the Free part. Bug or omission are common in all software packages. If you cared to read when the bugs or problem were reported and then check the date of the latest version you would have found that the dates are not even close. The program is stable and if not for the users reporting the problems they may have never been fixed. Thankful for Good Users(part of supporting a product).

I guess that if we did not allow problems to be discussed you would think that the program never had any reason for revisions... Also user mis-use can be mis-diagnosed by the user as a bug also.

We wish you good luck in your development efforts. Possibly it will take less than $15.00 worth of development time on your part to complete the program.

I don't understand why you are charging $14.95 for the product when you used to offer it for free. Especially since the product you made this add-in for is offered for free itself. Looks like I'll have to build a program myself to do exactly what this program does and offer it for FREE. I used the older FREE version all of the time and was satisfied. I also noticed that there are quite some bugs in the program listed in this forum. Why would I pay $15 for a program that isn't stable?
