Ok, 7.1 Build 4 has a partial fix for this. We are still working on this issue.

a new (empty) project works as well, here is what I do (using innoscript.ini from above)
- start innoscript
- File/New
--> while the SaveAs-Dialog is still visible, this big gray area appears.
- Filename: test
- save

I appended the test.pjt-file that is created this way.

Could you also zip and post the .pjt file for your app?

Hi,

thanks for your answer.
I tried it on two machines (desktop, WinXP, 1280x1024, 96dpi) and a Laptop (WinXP, 1600x1200, 120dpi). Both do have the same problem.
I changed the desktop to 1024x768, the grey area is smaller now so the buttons are visible (but the screen-layout ist still corrupted).
After switching back to 1280x1024 the problem comes back again.

Renaming the innoscript.ini doesn't work -> after starting the program and opening a new project the screen remains empty (grey).

I took a look in the innoscript.ini-file (on the laptop) and found unusual(negative) values for the screen-positions (see attachment). I changed [frmInnoscript].height to 12260 and [screen].height to 12260.
Now the buttons are visible, this will work for me now, but the screen-layout does look a bit confused).

Please let me know if you need more information or if there is a bugfix available.

Thanks,
Thomas

tcj,

The Add button is at the bottom of the screen you have posted. I have not seen this Grey area prior to now. Do all the tabs exhibit this behavior or just the Add Files Tab. The Add Files button does not exist any more since the tabs were introduced. The documentation hasn't caught up yet.

What screen resolution are you using?
Rename the InnoScript.ini file in the folder InnoScript was installed in and re-run InnoScript to see if this issue gets resolved.

Hi,

I just started with innoscipt (waiting for my regcode now).
The documentation says that I can add files using an add file button.

Where do I find that button? I searched everywhere but I cannot find it.

And: what is this big gray area that overlaps parts of the form at the bottom of the screen for (see screenshot)?

Thanks,
Thomas
