Title: Version 10.5 build 9
Post by: davethomson on October 18, 2014, 10:27:41 AM
Can I compile my programs on Version 10.5 build 9 and have then run on a Windows 8 computer or do I need to use Version 11 with Windows 8?

10.5 Build 9 does not support Windows 8. you could of course modify the script to get it to run but eliminates the benefit of using InnoScript. You really have to know what you are doing and have to be able to repeat it each time you create the script. You could use the template function to add the needed lines in though.

That's what I needed to know.  I already have Version 11 on my laptop so I can use it to "make" the installation .exe.

Thank  you.
