You gave me the versions of everything except the version of InnoScript you are currently using... It would help narrow down the issue.
 
Please check your version and let me know if it is 10.2.5.

Hi, yes I expected these questions after reading some other posts.  I used the exact project files as before. I have done it already for the past year, so this is not new to me.  
 
I am using whatever latest version is on your site. The old one won't run at all.  I did not see any directions originally to not install over it.  But it does not matter as everything is wiped out.  I cleared out everything.  You can blame it on that fact, but I can't say if it was. It should work fine now, but it does not.
 
I am an engineer and no I am not the guy you write about who thinks he can take an exe from one computer to the next.  This is a very intense application.  
 
Well, more info.  It is a VB6 project file, Safe Mode, XP target, dll's etc.  It worked fine before.  I point to the vbp file and all of the included folders and files.  It is hard to explain it all. Nothing tricky, it just crashes after making the script.  I did a System Restore and reinstalled everything and still the same result.  It is Inno Setup 3.5.7 and IStool 5.2.1

What version of InnoScript are you using now? If you are using the latest did you follow the directions and NOT install over a previous version?
 
You say you use InnoScript to create a VB file? InnoScript does not create VB files of any kind. I need more precise info on this matter.
 
Are you attempting to create a script from a vbp/vbg file or a setup.lst file? The more detailed info the better.
 
The current version is 10.2.5. InnoScript does not use any Yahoo Messenger functions or installs anything related to Yahoo, so InnoScript would not cause Yahoo to fail...

Hello, I had used version 9.2.19 for a year.  Then I tried to use it recently and it gave an runtime error of 5. So I paid for the InnoScript. But it crashes after it makes the script and will not create the install file.  I did manually go into Inno Setup and it created the install, but I paid for InnoScript and assumed it would work fine like before when it was free.  
 
I use it to create a VB file.  I am no expert in the matter, but it worked for many months until this new version. I tried the update, and clearing out the registry. Deleting the Program File folder for Randem Systems.  
 
I tried everything I could find and it wasted a lot of time.
 
I don't know what else to post.  It works, but why is it crashing?  I have 3.5.7 Inno Setup and all the latest. I have Xp Pro.  As I said, I ran it before just fine.  Something got very mess up after the install.  I did the Microsoft Scripting install also.  But just after, then Yahoo Messenger would not stay open for more than 2 minutes.  I could not use System restore as it crashed.  Finally System restore worked on the next try and I went back a day.  I have not reinstalled.  Wondering if you know what it could be.
