OK, well now I am releasing to you the source code of my project.  That is not something I can do.  It worked before, so something you did caused it not to work with my vbp.  I know how that is.  It should work!  If you sign an NDA, I can send it to you.  Otherwise, it just takes an extra step. At least the script is written.  I assume you want to help the customer, but my client won't let me just give out the software without protection.

Randem

I need the vbp file to be able to accomplish something. I cannot verify this issue without the vbp file... This does not happen with any project files we have.

Randem

Ok, Thanks. When I receive it I will run it thru to see what I see and let you know.

dblurred

I have emailed it to you. I may not respond for a few hours as I may be away from the puter.  The ISS file script has company name on it and the project file in it on the setup area.

Randem

Yes, but the name of a company can't be considered proprietary... There is nothing to gain by knowing a company's name. But yes you can change it...

If you email me the file I could check the run here to see if there is something specific to your vbp and pjt file that is throwing InnoScript off.

dblurred

It has name of the company on the setup properties.  Certainly you know this?

dblurred

InnoScript1025Release.exe
21.7 Megs it says.

I downloaded it twice, so that is what you have on the server it seems.  I just check the file on the server you have. It is 21.7 Megs.

Randem

What company info could possibly be in the vbp file? you could email me at randem at randem.com

dblurred

The error happens right after it shows the created script.  I downloaded it only 18 hours ago, then I did the System Restore and downloaded it again about 12 hours ago.

I can't upload the file.  I could email it to you.
It has company info in it.  I could take out some info but I don't think that would help you.  I don't want to spend hours on end on this, but, maybe it will help you fix it for myself and others with the same issue even though it was to have been fixed already.

The reality is that it does work in Inno Setup, but InnoScript won't kick in after the script is made.  It is halfway there but takes a siesta.

Randem

Your file seems to have been modified, the date is 3 minutes off the original file. What is the size of that file? The correct size is 4972kb or 4.85 MB (5,091,328 bytes) and the date Sunday, January 10, 2010, 6:13:30 PM

We are talking about the InnoScript.exe file, Yes? Not the installation file.

Randem

Is that the InnoScript.exe file?. Please re-download. At what point does this error happen? Can you zip and post you vbp and pjt files so that I may check them against our installation?

Randem

Ok, let's check a few things... The date on the exe should be 1/10/2010 6:13pm. Is this correct? The issue you spoke of was corrected in this version.
