Did you read the notes at installation time about the trial needing to have access to the internet or it will immediately shut down?

The only other way it would shut down is if you had a prior InnoScript trial installed and let it expire then this one will automatically shut down.

If either of these two conditions exists you will need to install the new trial on a different machine where InnoScript was never installed and it has internet access.

Yes I did read the instructions and Yes I was connected to the internet..I think I remember my firewall asking if Innoscript could connect...

I've googled a bit and realise I have to install on another machine, unfortunately I want it on this one.  I also realise this situation is because you are trying to prevent piracy..Obviously I have no intention of buying something I cant try..anyhow thank you for your respnse

I think you need to do that.  Reading your descriptions of Innoscript it sounds exactly what I want.  I have used other installers including PDW ( not very good) but usually I have always known the target environment, usually on them I have done the installs.

Now I want to ship an application to targets I have no control over hence my need for
something like Innoscript if it as good as you imply. I am convinced the situation as
it is must negatively impact on your marketing response

Sorry, I forgot to mention that you need to uninstall the trial version you have. Delete the folder where you installed it then re-install InnoScript. Since you have a special version you need to do this. The other versions do not need to do this.

I went back and revisited this situation and all you need to do is to re-install. You don't need to uninstall or delete anything.

My error...

Ok, Why are you using Version 5.1? We are at 9.1. Double check that info.

Delete the InnoScript.ini file in your Documents and SettingsyourusernameLocal SettingsApplication DataRandem SystemsInnoScript folder then re-run InnoScript. See if that works.

The only way I could get the error 384 was if I was attempting to run in a resolution less that 1024 x 768. Are you attempting to do this?
