You will need to check the registry at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader then check for version numbers such as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\6.0. Enumerating through the key will tell you the version of Acrobat that is installed.

I would like to create an install for some PDF files I have.  I have downloaded the versions of Adobe 6 reader as part of my install.  How can I check the to see if Adobe is install and install the correct version of Adobe if needed.
