Many people use InnoScript successfully. The main problems is not reading the documentations that comes with it. You should not see ANYTHING in Inno Setup that refers to InnoScript for the reason that is stated in the documentation on the second line under the heading...

It does not take long as long as this message is acknowledged. InnoScript has it's own help section that is misteriously found in Help->Instructions from the main menu...}

I'm curious as to how many people have purchased Inno Script and also how many have succesfully used it? I guess Randem could answer the first question but it might be hard to know what the answer to the second question is. How long does it typically take to learn how to use Inno Script? I'm looking at the parameters and it's not clear to me how to fill things in nor do I see anything in Inno Setup that seems to help.
