Thank you very much. Now it works.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to a show up an error message if such an
parsing error occurs(something new for the wishlist).

P.S.:
The InnoScript-Tool works great and simplifies packaging applications enormously. It
saves very much time. I am glad that i have found this tool on your website.

Andreas Tonder,

Your template script was improperly formatted. It had no line feeds as a text file should have. The file only has carriage returns. I have reformatted the file and have returned it to you.

Andreas Tonder,

The template function does indeed work. InnoScript is created using this function. What I need to see is your template file and your InnoScript.ini file. Please email these things to me at innoscript-support@randem.com so that I may look them over to see what the problem could be.

No insult intended but I would like to go over hte basics for the template function to see if everything is ok.

1) You select the template button which allows you to select a template file from the drop down box.

2) The template file looks similar to the script file (sections and information you want to add).

3) The template file has the extention tpl.

Please get to me the information and I a sure we can resolve this issue.

Hello,

im using InnoScript(version 2.3.7) on a Windows 2000 machine. My problem is when i am using a template-file to add some extra files into the installation-package, InnoScript does not compile the template-information into the result-script even though the templ.-option is activated. It seems that InnoScript doesn't even recognize that there is a template-file.

What could the problem be?

Thanks
Andreas
