I just uninstalled IS and re-installed it but I get basically the same problems.

After I entered the license details I got a message of Problem with License Installation CLF but IS did come up after 5-10 seconds and allowed me to compile one of my projects.

Again, IS was working fine until my colleague tried using the license after which I started having this problem.

Ok will try that shortly, as I need to finish something in the mean time.

/Thanks

Ok, something got messed up. May I suggest that you totally uninstall InnoScript (including deleting C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesRandem SystemsRelease folder) then re-install after a restart to see if that re-syncs everything.

I wasn't sure so I restarted my PC and there is still a problem, as outlined below:

a) restarted PC
b) ran IS and got a message (Caption: RS General Routines W 6.0) Problem with License Installation CLF
c) On clicking OK after a few seconds IS still came up and I was able to compile an IS project file
d) Closed IS and ran it again
e) Got a dialog No license present and I clicked OK
f) InnoScript License Registration dialog came up.
g) I entered license details and again got a message Problem with license installation but after a few seconds IS came up
h) unlike earlier today, now every time I close IS and start it again I get the dialog from step e) above.

OK, then it was just something in the cache then and when you restarted it was reset to normal. So everything is ok now?

BTW in the past IS on exit use to prompt to save the IS project file but now I notice that it doesn't do that.

Is that because it automatically saves the IS project file without prompting (as the response is almost always Yes) or does it not save it?

Both IS versions are the same, i.e. I was using an older version till I purchased the latest version on 6/Jan/2012 and I updated it the other day with V11.1.6 and the 2nd version was purchased the other day (on 24/Jan).

My updated version worked OK since the purchase earlier this month and it was only when my colleague (being impatient) tried my license details while waiting for his to arrive.

Just to correct my earlier statement. When I just opened IS to check the version, I wasn't asked for license details so instead of being asked every time, it may be only after I restart my PC, which wasn't necessary up until the other day.

Aloha, Are the InnoScript versions the same? If they are different versions then the license will not work. For the current InnoScript version number is 11, so if you are using a prior versions licens on 11 it will not work and vice-versa.

Hi,
The other day I purchased a second IS license for my colleague after his trial license expired. As he didn't get his license activation details immediately but needed to do something, I asked him to try my license and if that works he can continue using it and I'll use the new code when it comes through.

My license details (as expected) didn't work for him and after a few hours he's license details came through and he activated his IS so he's OK however ever since then whenever I try to use IS I get asked to re-enter my license details.

What can I do to resolve that issue.
