Items 2 and 3 are needed, the others can be deleted.

Delete the Englist.ist file that is a mistake.

Tom Buggy

Again FYI, there is an English (non-U.S.) file in my Languages folder.  However, it is only 1 KB where as the other language files are 14-17 KB.

With respect to my previous post about the four Innoscript.ini files, are all of these necessary?

Randem

Actually there never was a Non-US English file. That is where the problem resided.

Tom Buggy

FYI, I have four Innoscript.ini files on my system:

1) C:D&SApplication DataRandem SystemsInnoscript

2) C:D&STomLocal SettingsApplication DataEandem SystemsInnoscript

3) C:Program FilesRandem SystemsInnoscriptInnoscript 8

4) C:D&STomRecent

The second instance - 2) above - now has Language=English(U.S.).  The other three do not have a Language parameter.  Note that I never saw a Language=English, probably because I changed to Language=English(U.S.) before I read your post about the change to Language=Default.

Tom Buggy

I chose English.  All the language files seem to be there and I noticed that there are two English files -- English and English (U.S.) - ??  When I swirched to English (U.S.) the text to the left of the colon now appears - situation resolved.

However, although it won't affect me, I notice that the Languages submenu no longer includes the English (non-US) item - ?

Randem

Ok, Found an initialization error. Open the InnoScript.ini File and change the parameter

Language=English

to

Language=Default

In the [InnoScript] Section. That should remedy this situation

Randem

What language have you chosen?
Check in your APPDATA folder IE

C:\Documents and Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Randem Systems\InnoScript\Languages

To check to see if all the language files are present.

Tom Buggy

I installed V9.0.1 - never version situation resolved.  However, the after-Create situation of missing text to the left of the colon remains.

Randem

Answer: There is an update...

If you run 9.0.1 that situation is corrected.

Tom Buggy

Question: I just installed V9.0.  When I run the program I see a windows that says there's a later version.  What's up?

Observation: After creating a script the window that shows the various file counts does not show the type of files -- text to the left of the colon is missing.
