oops. Sorry. I'll get them to you in the morning.

Randem

Wrong log files. Check the path I gave you. I need the RSTools log files.

svanxx

I'm leaving work now. If you need anything else it'll have to be in the morning.

Thanks for your help so far.

A messagebox appears with the caption: RS General Routines (3.2.0) and the text: Invalid Version File on Server - Contact Randem Systems to Correct.

But the program opened for me and appears to be working. If it does work, I'll post my logs here

Randem

zip and post the .iss file along with the log file, preferably after replacing the exe.

svanxx

I can get the .iss file to compile but when it's run, it doesn't create anything but an uninstaller and a shortcut to nothing

Randem

Here is the trace file. Just replace your old InnoScript.exe file with this one and re-run your conversion. It will create a log file in

C:\Documents and Settings\yourUserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Randem Systems\InnoScript\RSTools Log

Zip and post this file after your run.

Randem

Ok, It finishes the conversion. Look at the iss file that got generated. I will send you another exe to run that will generate a different log.

Let me create it...

Thanks

svanxx

Ok it gave me the same error again. Here's my log files:

svanxx

I uninstalled, then installed the new version and then copied the new exe (build 3) over build 2. So now I am using 8.3 InnoScript.

I'm using VS 2005 SP1.

I installed InnoScript in the default folder, however my InnoScript projects have been on a network drive.

Edit: I was in the wrong directory. I did have a .ini file and I changed it to reflect what you had above. I will run the program again and send you the results.

I tested with your file and everything went fine. Do me a favor and open your InnoScript.ini file and set the following markers:

[InnoScript]
Log=True
Debug=True
Error=True
Trace=True

Your InnoScript.ini file can be found at

C:\Documents and Settings\yourUserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Randem Systems\InnoScript

Run the application then look in

C:\Documents and Settings\yourUserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Randem Systems\InnoScript\Logs

For a files by the name of your project. zip and post them. After looking at this I may have one more test for you to make.

Thanks for your assistance...

Randem

Ok, guys tell me

Did you re-download and re-install AFTER uninstalling the version you have then copy the new exe over the one that was installed?

What version of InnoScript you are running?

What version of VB .NET are you running?

Where did you install InnoScript?
etc...

svanxx

Did above, same problem as before with same project. I'm going to try it with a new project and I will tell you my result.

Edit: New project, same problem

I've just done that and I still get InnoScript to crash after Invalid property array index. and Stop statement encountered. messages.
